"My words are written in my journal first, for me, and then they're shared in my books. When I feel warmed by them, and held by their magic and imagery, I want another woman in the world to feel that way too
...there's such power in that!"
Lynette Allen is a best-selling author, poet and publisher whose words have held women through their hardest moments and their rising.

She is the founder of Gather the Women Publishing, where she guides women to tell their stories and find the gems in their words to help women they will otherwise never touch or meet.

Her own poetry collections; A Woman’s Blessing, HELD, Sacred, Earthed and now Rising Woman (June 26), offer medicine for women navigating the messy beautiful work of becoming.

Lynette and her family split their time between Suffolk, England and Asia, always with a journal nearby and ceremonial cacao in her cup. She believes women's words are medicine.
A mother of two daughters and a grandmother, she believes that women's stories and words hold great power. She believes that poetry can hold us sometimes when nothing else will.
